I’m not sure if it’s just a trend within the office in which I work but it’s recently occurred to me that those in power are getting more and more mercenary. Sure they sound good whilst their going on about their latest scheme for the business or whatever. They certainly dream lots (in my experience they’re mostly dreaming whilst at work) but it either never comes to fruition until about seven years later in a completely different format trying to convince everyone that not only they are the main motivation behind the project but that they’ve been slogging away at it all the time behind the scenes and this is the culmination of seven years of sweat and toil on their part. Gunpowder season and plots

Okay so the season of celebrating just about anything is continuing and my fascination with people’s desire to join in on each one regardless of rationale continues. Take fireworks night for example, when I was little I recall going only once to a fireworks display and recall the large bonfire, the sparklers and watching what appeared to be barely contained explosives going off all over the place. Okay so now I have a large tower in my living room with what is known to some as “blue worms” twisting around inside it. My water cooled setup is rocking and running (at last inspection anyway).
I began all this with research starting about two months ago (probably more) when I was a total water cooling n00b and would probably have rigged it all up without ever thinking about radiators. Now I apparently have a good setup and what’s more, I can fit it all inside my case! Read More
