Right, I’ve been in the same job for over eight years now and I’ve just about had enough. I’m not annoyed so much as just tired of doing the same thing.
Parallel to this is a boyhood dream. Something which I could look at now but it’d be stupidly tight on money is an AC Cobra. Okay so I’m going through my own spring cleaning at the moment. Taking stock of where I’ve been and where I want to go. This is otherwise known as the annual INTP midlife crisis.
So far I’ve already been looking at a muscle car, a clear sign of my crisis mode, and am looking at changing careers to do something I care about instead of just something that someone else tells me to do.
I think that so far, in my recent memory, I’ve had so many things go wrong it’s getting silly. I tried to upgrade my pen drive of portable apps. I bought the fastest I could find and now find it to be slower than the previous one. I still can’t quite get Vista to work stably and well on my home PC despite more tinkering than a dozen DIY enthusiasts in a shed, I’m increasingly dissatisfied with my car in some strange justification that I have too much money to be driving it (don’t ask, I don’t understand that either) and the house is still doing my head in.
